Memorial Day: No Official Ride

11 riders showed up for the Insane Dane ride last night, including a truly insane Newbie on his steal frame Surly cross bike complete with knobby tires.  New to the Drafters, but certainly not new to cycling, we welcome Surly Bob.  I was humbled as he dropped me on the first significant climb up Wipperfurth.  I was hoping it was because I had joined the Flat Tire Club, but alas, no such excuse presented itself.Billy Boy McC and Loose Screw were notably absent from the Draft, but I received a photo from "SI" to vouch for their ride.  I'm not sure if SI indicates Sports Illustrated or Sanibel Island? Either way, Billy Boy McC looks stunning in his new green Drafter jersey. Earlier in the week, Billy Boy looked to Cloud Computing for advice on how to go faster. Shoeing is one of the many services offered by Cronometro.

 I am not well versed in some of the finer things in life, like art and wine, but I think I could feel right at home in this museum in Denver, CO.  Keep those Drafter photos coming!A reminder that there is no official ride on Memorial Day, and I think the Free House is closed as well.  Hope to see you on June 5.
